The 2012 SIA Security Week Gala is an opportunity to share a festive evening and honor the achievements and contributions of security industry leaders.

Bill Bozeman, President and CEO of PSA Security Network, has been named as the 2012 recipient of the George R. Lippert Memorial Award. The award, which was first presented by the Security Industry Association (SIA) in 1989, recognizes outstanding contributions to SIA and the security industry. Mr. Bozeman was chosen to receive the award by a unanimous vote of former winners.

The InterPort Police will present Rep. Peter King (R-NY), Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, with the Fred V. Morrone 9/11 Memorial Award. The award recognizes those who contribute domestically and internationally to the fight against terrorism and are working to make the world a safer place.

Cygnus Security Media, publisher of Security Technology Executive magazine, is partnering with SIA and ISC Events to present the Security Innovation Awards at the Gala. This annual competition recognizes the best and brightest in innovative uses of security technology.
