Certified Security Project Manager Program

Accelerate Your Security Career in Project Management

This year, SIA will have two offerings for the Security Project Management training.  The Introduction to Security Project Management course will help get frontline people up-to-speed on effective project management so they can add more value to your company.  This two-day course will help accelerate the process of becoming a qualified security project manager.  Attendees will learn the fundamental elements of sound project management, including project definition and planning, installation and field work, project documentation and financials. This course is for all security professionals -- technicians, engineers, installers and others -- who aspire to a career in the fast-growing security project management field.

The Certified Security Project Manager course meets the "practical" aspects of designing and managing security projects. It requires prospective candidates to demonstrate their ability and skills in implementing the concepts and tools of professional project management. This intensive program consists of several steps, examinations and demonstration of practical experience.

Feedback from a 2009 CSPM Course Attendee:

"My SIA CSPM training gave me the knowledge to run a large project more efficiently, effectively and profitably with, of course, a greater level of customer satisfaction."

Clyde Conn, national accounts coordinator for Siemens Building Technologies
