Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE)
Each year, a portion of ticket sales is donated to a charitable organization whose mission is closely aligned to the work of the security industry. This year, SIA, NBFAA and CSAA are pleased to announce Students Against Violence Everywhere, or SAVE, as our designated charity. SAVE is a national, nonprofit organization created by students for students that promotes the virtues of civility and respect by helping students of all ages learn how to care for other people. Its mission is to decrease the potential for violence in schools and communities by promoting meaningful student involvement, education and service opportunities in efforts to provide safer environments for learning. SAVE has chapters in 45 states with over 200,000 students actively involved in violence prevention activities in their schools and communities including bullying, conflict management and crime prevention.
Please contact Leigh A. McGuire, SIA manager of marketing and meetings (lmcguire@siaonline.org/703-647-8493) with any questions.
